LUZIA, a waking dream of Mexico is a big top show created and produced by the Cirque du Soleil. It was inspired by south american cultures and takes us to the very heart of a colorful imaginary Mexico.

LUZIA, a waking dream of Mexico is a circus tent show created and produced by Cirque du Soleil. The show is inspired by South American cultures and takes us to the heart of a revisited and colorful Mexico.

The name Luzia combines the words « luz », which means « light » in Spanish, and « lluvia », which means « rain ». Water and light are the two central elements at of this show, completed by 44 artists coming from all over the world.

Thus, the Cirque du Soleil called upon Aquatique Show to stage the rain and integrate it into this poetic and acrobatic ode to Mexican culture.

For two hours, the scenes one another to entertain family audiences. The staging is both completed and enhanced by our Aqua Graphic©, which brings the water to life throughout the show. We have programmed a tailor-made water show to make interactions possible and create an exchange game between the water and the artists.

For this project, we adapted our Aqua Graphic© water curtain to the needs of this big top travelling show. The idea was to enable the whole audience to enjoy the staging, which is why we created a linear Aqua Graphic© water curtain that can spin on itself to create a 360° rotating movement.

This custom-made Aqua Graphic© water curtain features a central module mounted on a rotating seal that guarantees both a smooth rotary movement and perfect sealing.

We have also designed this Aqua Graphic© water curtain so that it is easy to assemble and dismantle quickly and requires minimal maintenance. This product is therefore perfectly adapted to the time and movement constraints imposed by Cirque du Soleil's tour.
