For its 2016 and 2017 editions, the committee of the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival in Abu Dhabi, used the services of Aquatique Show to create a custom-made water show at the center of this event.
The concept of the festival
The Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival, named after the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founding father of the United Arab Emirates, celebrates the cultural heritage of the United Arab Emirates. It highlights the rich diversity of its traditions and offers visitors information on the heritage left by the founder of the nation. Festival visitors have the opportunity to discover the culture and heritage of the UAE through its arts, crafts, gastronomy and customs.
At the center of the festival is the UAE Heritage District, which hosts exhibitions, events and a local market reflecting traditional Emirati life. The World Heritage Quarter, on the other hand, presents the architectural heritage, crafts, products and traditional arts of other countries
Configuration of the water show
The installation of this custom-made water show was operated in the central pool of the festival with a diameter of 50 meters. Aquatique Show built a water show visible at 360 ° with lot of water effects for a rich and varied show.
There are more than 100 straight jets, 32 arches, as many two-axis rotating jets and flower effects, as well as nearly 100 linear meters of fog effect and 4 water screens that will host video projections and lasers, which make up this original show: a density of effects that immerses the spectator in a dreamlike water world.
