Indoor water shows by Aquatique Show

- 01.07.2025
When we think about Aquatique Show, we imagine large outdoor fountain shows with giant projections on water screens for huge events such as national holidays or major international sporting events. But since its beginnings, Aquatique Show has developed specific expertise and unique know-how to create indoor water shows and ensure perfect integration of water effects in confined spaces where splashing must be avoided. From the study to the design by our engineers to the manufacturing of the equipment, Aquatique Show adapts its offer to create custom-made water effects.
Recent and/or emblematic projects illustrate this unique expertise: the show “Le Souffle de l'Ill” at the Mulhouse municipal baths, “The House of Dancing Water”, the famous show created by Franco Dragone in Macao, and the mythical dancing fountains at the Grand Rex in Paris.
“Le Souffle de l'Ill”, a water show and mapping for a total immersive experience
From June 4 to 29, 2025, Mulhouse's municipal baths hosted an original show that completely decorated the inside.
The municipal baths reopened their doors to mark their centenary, after more than 2 years of closure, with this daring show, created to appeal to a family audience.
Created by Damien Fontaine and produced by Fiat Lux, this ambitious project transforms the Art Deco Pierre et Marie Curie swimming pool into a real stage, combining digital art, water effects, aerial acrobatics and image projections, with original music by André Adjiba.

Custom-made water scenography by Aquatique Show
Aquatique Show integrated dancing fountains, but also a water screen and Fan jets to project video content without any visible support: characters appear to float in the baths' decor.

Aquatique Show imagined a water scenography adapted to the site, while respecting its heritage. All the elements fit naturally into the environment of the site, forming a spectacular water facade. The decor envelops the audience, making the visual experience immersive and unforgettable.

The House of Dancing Water: an ambitious indoor water show
This show at Macau's City of Dreams casino was imagined by the renowned director Franco Dragone. It's one of the largest and most impressive indoor water shows in the world, with a Theater that has been specially designed for this permanent show, with 3,000 seats and 5 performances per week.

“The House of Dancing Water” blends theatrical performance, dance and acrobatic numbers with sumptuous and different decors for each of the show's scenes, all set against a scenography of more than a hundred water effects and dancing fountains spouting out from all over the theater.

To bring this water show to life, over 200 water effects were installed by Aquatique Show:
174 high jets, spread across the entire stage, projecting water up to 9 meters high.
9 hollow jets, placed on the central stage in a circle, forming columns of water visible from the theater and rising to 18 meters.
8 columnar jets, also 18 meters high, with multiple 14 millimeter nozzles. They blend harmoniously with the hollow jets to form water columns of 30 centimeter diameter.
8 jumping jets emerge from the audience and fall precisely onto the stage, creating 12 meter arches.
40 beach jets, placed around the circular stage, reach a height of 10 meters. Their curvature allows them to reach the center of the stage, enveloping the performers.
A central rainfall effect that covers the entire stage, adding the desired touch of romance to some scenes.
Each pump is powered by an electrical output ranging from 0.75 to 30 kW, guaranteeing powerful and reactive effects.
A safety study was carried out by Apave to ensure the best conditions for divers and performers in the water.
The "House of Dancing Water" is one of the company's most ambitious indoor creations, thanks to its scale and the technical resources deployed.
Le Grand Rex: water at the heart of Parisian entertainment
An emblematic part of France's cultural heritage, Le Grand Rex in Paris has also called on Aquatique Show for its dancing fountain show “La Féerie des Eaux” since its beginnings. This water show has been seen over and over again by several generations of Parisians who, as they grow up, bring their own children with them.
Year after year, our teams have incorporated new water effects to accompany the dancing fountains and renew the silhouette of the show. Jumping jets, Aqua Graphic water curtains and other effects have been adapted to fit the stage at Le Grand Rex, keeping the space splash-free.
