The 2025 Lake Festival in Annecy brought together thousands of spectators for the show “Ode to the Moon,” a poetic 70-minute journey divided into six acts. Created by Edouard Grégoire for ARTEVENTIA, the show combines narration, pyrotechnics, lights, Luminéoles, music, and water effects.

Aquatique Show contributed to this show by installing a water show of dancing fountains on the lake, combining straight jets, moving jets, and double rotating sun jets to complement the pyrotechnic and lighting effects and create a water skyline on the city's lake.

The display was designed so that every spectator on the banks could follow the progression of the visual and audio narrative, while enjoying a clear view of the water effects that complemented the highlights of the fireworks and created a visual link between the different elements of the show.

Straight jets and moving jets to create a constant rhythm in the show

The straight jets draw the first line of the show on the lake, at the spectator's eye level. They structure the space, linking the lake's horizon to the fireworks playing out above. The water rises, comes to life, and accompanies the highlights of the show. The moving jets evolve around this base, pivoting and crossing their trajectories to bring movement and accompany the Luminéoles, luminous devices that fly towards the audience. The dancing fountain show creates an water language that dialogues with the other effects of the show; an water facade capable of supporting both calm moments and more intense sequences.

Double rotating sun jets to define the show space

The double rotating sun jets create recognizable figures on the water. Their movements draw a shape that evokes a flower or a rotating luminous sun. These jets introduce an unusual movement where the jets emerge and disappear from the lake waters. They bring variation to the visual interpretation of the show and create a real focal point, an original punctuation mark.

Sustainable and modular solutions for events

In Annecy, Aquatique Show mobilized its rental fleet to create an impressive facade measuring over 100 meters. The floating structures on which the water jets are mounted are perfectly adapted to the site's constraints, providing a stable water line and high-quality water effects. The modularity of the equipment facilitates installation and offers great creative freedom to design custom made water shows in unique locations.

Dancing fountains for a complete water show

By integrating various water effects, Aquatique Show transformed the lake into a veritable stage that connected the lake to the fireworks display. Straight jets, moving jets, and double rotating sun jets structured the show, highlighted key moments, and created powerful images that were visible from the shore. Our jets, positioned at the spectators' eye level, perfectly covered the lower part of the fireworks display, offering a complete picture in which water interacted with fire, light, and music.

The 2025 edition of the Annecy Lake Festival will remain memorable for spectators: the entire setup highlighted the beauty of the lake, the scale of the fireworks display, and the unique atmosphere of the event, offering a spectacular moment shared by all.
