In 2024, the Théâtre du Lido, an iconic Parisian cabaret, collaborated with Aquatique Show to create two shows:
Hello, Dolly! and Les Jeux des 4 Saisons.
Both projects incorporated dancing fountains in very different artistic and technical contexts:
for Hello, Dolly!, the dancing fountain was presented as a pre-show to introduce the performance.
In Les Jeux des 4 Saisons, the dancing fountain and our Aqua Graphic water curtain were at the heart of an immersive multimedia show.
Les Jeux des 4 Saisons: an immersive multimedia water show
With Les Jeux des 4 Saisons, the Lido offers an immersive creation inspired by Vivaldi's music.
This show combines video mapping, spatialized sound, lighting, and water effects to represent the seasons through distinct visual and sound universes, linked to climate change and future imaginaries.
Aquatique Show is involved in supporting the narrative and enhancing the audience's immersion throughout the show.
The Aqua Graphic water curtain
The Aqua Graphic water curtain is a central element of the display. It is used as a projection screen for images and animations, and helps to structure the transitions between the different seasons.
The Aqua Graphic module is 5,44 meters wide and sculpts shapes in the water to play a music synchronized choreography.

Other water effects, such as arches and dancing fountains, complete the stage design at the front of the stage to create a depth that envelops and surrounds the audience.

Original artistic integration into the story
An iconic Broadway musical, Hello, Dolly! tells the story of Dolly Levi, a New York matchmaker who orchestrates encounters while reconnecting with her own romantic past.
Even before the show begins, the dancing fountains feature in an introductory sequence, a pre-show entirely dedicated to the water show, synchronized with music and lighting.
In an original combination that integrates the dancing fountain into the narrative, the first sequence of the show opens with Irene Molly “thanking” her companions for the four-hour fountain show!
Technical integration mastered
Aquatique Show installed dancing fountains in the pool located under the Lido stage.
The installations were integrated into the theater's existing machinery, respecting the functioning of the stage and the technical constraints of the venue.
The Lido's mechanized stage opens to reveal the pool, then closes to accommodate the show.
This unique project illustrates Aquatique Show's ability to adapt its water features to complex stage environments and large-scale theatrical productions.
Thanks to the integration of water effects, Aquatique Show has accompanied the metamorphosis of the Théâtre du Lido by enriching the staging of Hello, Dolly! and Les Jeux des 4 Saisons. Dancing fountains, Aqua Graphic water curtains, and water features structured key sequences, supported transitions, and reinforced the staging.
These installations, designed in direct connection with the theater's machinery and other technical elements, allow water to interact with music, light, and images, enhancing the audience's experience.
