Closing show for Riyadh Season
During Riyadh Season 2020, Aquatique Show took part in the show Leila, The Land of Imagination, produced by Balich Wonder Studio. This project, presented at the end of the season, was part of the Vision 2030 program and brought together several hundred artists on stage. Aquatique Show incorporated an Aqua Graphic water curtain and a Magic Water Wall into the show's stage design.
Water effects in perfect harmony with the show
Aquatique Show incorporated a Magic Water Wall consisting of 16 straight jets 20 meters high and fog effects. These water effects act as deconstructive elements of the set, giving a misty and mysterious aspect to the different sequences of the show.
The water jets also interact with the performers. Perfectly integrated into the choreography, they reinforce the rhythm of the dance routines and amplify it to impressive heights.
The fog creates additional volume and perspective in a game of revelation and disappearance, immersing the audience in the world conveyed by the show.
The Aqua Graphic water curtain
Our semi-circular Aqua Graphic water curtain helps to create a dreamlike world; suspended in the air, it produces a shower of patterns sculpted in water; a dancer suspended in the air begins to dance in the cascade of patterns; this duet between the water and the artist is a truly poetic highlight of the show.
A specific technique
The intervention combines technical design and coordination with the scenography, carefully thought out and executed down to the last millimeter by our technicians and programmers. The devices—straight jets, fog, and Aqua Graphic water curtain—accompany the artists and structure the stage space, while respecting the technical constraints of the site and the show.
Participation in an international show
The show Leila, The Land of Imagination illustrates Aquatique Show's involvement in large-scale projects. The straight jets, fog, and Aqua Graphic water curtain were integrated into the stage design in coordination with the artistic and technical teams at Balich Wonder Studio. This project shows how our water features can accompany choreography and decorate and structure a large space such as the stadium in which Leila, The Land of Imagination was presented.
