At Crans Montana, Aquatique Show created a multimedia water show for the Swiss National Day celebrations from 2013 to 2015. The show accompanied the fireworks and was presented both during the day and at night over four days.
Installed on floating structures, the show featured more than 70 different water effects. The water facade was approximately 100 meters long, with effects reaching heights of up to 20 meters. The installation blended naturally into the landscape of the Crans-Montana valley and Lake Grenon.
In Geneva, water effects have also been at the heart of major artistic projects on the lake. During the 2024 Mapping Festival, Aquatique Show created a spectacular multimedia water show at Eaux-Vives beach.
The installation combined 20-meter-high straight jets, moving cannons and a stage opening of almost 100 meters. Dancing fountains accompanied a live performance by the Geneva Chamber Orchestra.
Water screens and moving jets were combined with video projections and lasers. The moving jets reached heights of up to 30 meters, creating a unique visual experience across the lake and city skyline.
At Crans-Montana, for Swiss National Day, water became part of a spectacular Alpine setting. The show was designed to enhance the landscape around Lake Grenon.
A landmark project: Circus Knie
Proximity also makes it possible to provide ongoing project support. The Circus Knie project is a perfect example.
For its 2023 and 2024 touring shows, the Swiss National Circus Knie wanted to integrate water effects into its new mobile stage.
Aquatique Show, together with Guillet and its Moving Stage brand, designed and created a unique foldable and mobile stage. It integrated water effects, projectors, technical equipment, and a recovery pool.
Straight jets. Arches. Tulip effects. An Aqua Graphic® water curtain.
Each element was designed to accompany the artists and choreographic sequences.
The project involved major technical challenges. The show had to be mobile. Assembly and disassembly had to be fast and efficient. The equipment also had to withstand the demanding conditions of a touring production.
For the 2023 edition, Circus Knie also integrated a circular Aqua Graphic® water curtain into the show. The result was a magical and immersive effect that gave the performance an entirely new dimension.
